Ric Hess received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fiction Writing from Columbia College Chicago. He lives on the Northside of Chicago where he is an ardent Cubs fan, perhaps explaining his attraction to noir and themes of desperation. He also operates the storied Wrigleyville tavern, Sheffield’s, where many a fan gathers to commiserate over a fine beer after a day at the ballpark. He is currently working to publish his first novel.
